Wealth Planning
A living plan mapped to your life: cash flow, goals, and the trade-offs between them, revisited as circumstances change.
Fiduciary · Personal · Enduring
Eagle Nest Wealth is a fiduciary wealth management practice: a patient steward of the families and businesses we serve.
Sub Sole Nihil · nothing new under the sun.
Great wealth is not managed. It is tended, patiently and in good faith.
We built Eagle Nest Wealth to be the advisor we would want for our own families: fee-transparent and bound by a fiduciary duty to put your interests first. No proprietary products. No quarterly theater. Only clear counsel, held to a long horizon.
A living plan mapped to your life: cash flow, goals, and the trade-offs between them, revisited as circumstances change.
Disciplined portfolios built around your goals, time horizon, and tolerance for risk, not around this week's headlines.
Turning a lifetime of saving into a sustainable, tax-aware income strategy for the decades that follow work.
Structuring what passes on, and to whom, in coordination with your attorney, so your intentions are honored with clarity.
Sequencing decisions across accounts and years, alongside your tax professionals, with an eye toward tax efficiency.
Guidance through the moments that change a financial picture: a sale, an inheritance, a career change, or a new chapter.
Our advisory services are provided under a fiduciary duty to place your interests ahead of our own.
No proprietary products and no sales quotas. Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed to you in writing.
Plain fees and plain language, so you understand what you pay and why we advise what we do.
We invest and plan in decades, not quarters, staying steady through market cycles.
One relationship with an advisor who knows your name, not a call center and a ticket number.
Nothing new under the sun. Careful stewardship is the whole of our work.
Balances and positions, updated throughout the day and available whenever you want to look.*
*Subject to system availability. Certain data may be delayed or updated on a different schedule.
A thorough look at the accounts, decisions, and moving parts that shape your financial life, with scenario-based planning that shows the trade-offs behind a decision, not only the conclusion.
Plain-language reporting on your portfolio, fees, and progress toward the things that actually matter to you.
Technology handles the busywork; your advisor handles the judgment. Direct access to a real person, never a call center.
The long view
Watchful from a height.
Patient across every season.
Eagle Nest Wealth was founded by Colin Monteith, who began his career in Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management group, supporting a team serving ultra-high-net-worth families on the planning, investment, and estate questions that accompany significant wealth.
He built Eagle Nest Wealth to bring disciplined, personalized advice to families who want a fiduciary advisor in their corner: counsel coordinated across the whole of your financial life, delivered with modern tools and old-fashioned attention.
A graduate of Texas Christian University, Colin advises from Houston, Texas as an investment adviser representative of Altruist Advisors LLC.
Sub Sole Nihil: nothing new under the sun. Markets cycle and circumstances change, but the patterns repeat, which is why he believes steady attention matters more than prediction. The eagle guards the nest; the sun rises without fail. It is how he thinks about the work: watchful over what you've built, and constant across the seasons of a life.

At no cost and with no obligation. No documents needed, just a conversation. We listen to where you are, what you've built, and what you want it to do, and we are honest about whether we're the right fit.
If it makes sense to proceed, we map your whole picture into a clear, written plan: the goals underneath it, the trade-offs between them, and the reasoning behind each recommendation.
Your accounts are held at Altruist Financial LLC, and the real work begins: reviews as life changes, counsel when questions arise, and a steady watch over it all.
Yes. Advisory services are provided through Altruist Advisors LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser, and we have a fiduciary duty to act in your best interest when providing investment advice.
Advisory fees are based on the assets we manage for you, as set out in your written advisory agreement. Fees and potential conflicts of interest are disclosed in Altruist Advisors LLC's Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS, which you'll receive before we begin working together.
Individuals and families who want a coordinated plan for their finances and a responsive advisor. Every relationship begins with a conversation about whether we're the right fit.
It is unhurried and without obligation. We listen, understand your situation and what matters to you, and are honest about whether we are the right fit. No pressure, and no sales pitch.
Online access to your accounts, updated throughout the day,* along with planning that shows the trade-offs behind a decision and plain-language reporting on your portfolio and fees.
*Subject to system availability. Certain data may be delayed or updated on a different schedule.
We're based in Houston, Texas, and work with clients in Texas and in other states where Altruist Advisors LLC and its representatives are registered or exempt from registration.

A first conversation is unhurried and without obligation: a chance to understand your situation and whether we're the right fit for it.
Scheduling a conversation does not create an advisory relationship. See our disclosures.
